Dear ABA Churches in the Great State of Florida,
Lone Oak Baptist Church is excited to host the upcoming Florida State Youth Assembly August 3rd-5th. We look forward to having youth from all over the state join us for worship, workshops, fellowship, and yes a whole lot of fun! I pray you will consider bringing the youth of your church to this special annual event.Here is the information needed to book your upcoming stay. We have two different hotel options for you to choose which would be better for your group. We have rooms available at the Hampton Inn in Plant City, FL for $129 a room, just 15 minutes from the church. We also have rooms available at the Holiday Inn in Plant City for $109 a room, just 19 minutes from the church. Rooms must be booked by July 1st! You can book your room by phone or online and request the "Lone Oak Baptist Church" group.Monday evening we will be having a meet and greet followed by ice cream and games in the church fellowship hall (not a meal). Tuesday afternoon, we will provide lunch at the church followed by water games in the church yard. For water games, please be prepared with appropriate attire. Following the evening service on Tuesday, we will be giving the option to go to top golf or bowling, both in Brandon. Please let us know which activity you would prefer by July 1st as well. The cost for activities will be $25 per person, and if you would like to purchase snacks or drinks at the venues you will need to plan accordingly. Please bring payment for activities during registration on Monday, as the church will be paying all at once.Thank you so much for your participation and attendance at our annual state youth assembly.
